Tamper Evident Durable High Level Security UHF RFID Bolt Seal model NEPTUNE SEAL is a bolt-lock with high security seal working with passive UHF RFID (EPC Class1 Gen2) technology for automatic radio frequency identification. Available with capability of identification only or also with tamper evidence built-in capability.

Tamper Evident RFID Bolt Seal is a container bolt-lock type e-seal that combines the necessary degree of high security required by the technical specification ISO 17712:2013 with the electronic security offered by the latest techniques of passive radio frequency-based automatic identification and data communication (RFID). The outer ABS plastic housing of the RFID bolt seal can be customized on request with laser marks including logo, sequential numbering, text, barcode or QRcode.

The NEPTUNE SEAL RFID bolt seal contains an electronic RFID chip tag with unique code that not only enables the automatic identification of any container or transport vehicle, which the seal is attached to, but also allows immediate, easy and reliable readings of the integrity status of the seal, by giving information about any tamper evidence and attempt to manipulate the e-seal. Neptune RFID bolt seal is the ideal solution for guaranteeing cargo security, tamper evidence along the shipping and supply chain.

Key Features:

• Certified in compliance with requirements as per ISO 17712:2013; 
• It can be read quickly and accurately by static gateway reading systems or by handheld devices assigned to check point personnel; 
• Any tampering event occurring with the e-seal is stored in its chip memory. This activates the – tag tamper alarm, which provides the status of the seal at readings (tampered/not tampered, i.e. breached or intact seal); 
• In the event of tampering, the e-seal irreversibly changes its electronic status. The tamper status is automatically flagged up when reading is taken;
• The RFID chip can also store additional information. The chip can be written by  using the RFID reader/writer device. Further information added and the chip itself can be password protected.
