Dual use eyewear tag is a small sized RAIN (UHF) RFID tag that helps make inventory management easy. The tag serves a dual purpose i.e. it can be used to manage inventory of the eyewear when the cases/boxes are tagged and placed in the warehouse or backroom storage and also manage the eyewear frames when they are to be displayed on the store shelf by peeling off the inner tag from the case/box and mounting it on the eyewear frame.
This tag also helps improve security of eyewear without causing any inconvenience to customers while trying on the eyewear. The tag is usually mounted on the temple of the frame, but can also be mounted on the bridge of the frame, if required. Supplied with NXP’s UCODE 8 chip, this tag offers good performance.
