Avery Dennison Smartrac Circus™ inlays and tags provide superior readability and best-in-class performance for item-level product authentication, pharmaceutical and brand protection applications. As the smallest available round HF inlay, Circus inlays and tags are ideal wherever small size and top performance are essential. Circus tag is a tiny and cost-effective inlay with best-in-class performance. The inlay comes with NXP ICode SLIX provides 896 bits of user memory, while NXP ICode SLIX2 boasts an extended user memory of 2,528 bits.

Circus tags and inlays with NXP ICode ILT-M ICs provide excellent performance in document and item identification where close stacking occurs, which is a challenging environment for other passive protocols. The tag also works well in applications where very fast inventory of multiple tags in the field occurs, e.g. counting casino chips. In these cases, Circus tags offer performance approaching UHF EPC Class 1 Gen 2.
